Marking Applicants as Ineligible

Access Applicant List

1. From the Main Menu screen, click APPLICANTS. The Browse Applicants screen appears with all active applicants displayed in a table.

2. Select how you want to order the applicant table from the ordered by drop-down list, enter the search criteria in the search for field and click GO. The first applicant to match the criteria will be highlighted in the table.
3. Click on the toolbar. The Applicant tab of the Maintain Applicants screen opens.
4. Select the Lists Applied For tab. All the waiting lists to which the applicant has applied are listed in a table.

5. In the table, highlight and select the waiting list for which you want to mark the applicant as ineligible and click on the toolbar.
6. Select "Mark as Ineligible" from the menu that appears. The Mark as Ineligible Wizard is initiated.
7. Specify the action date. This is the date the applicant's ineligibility was determined by your agency.
8. If the applicant has applied for other waiting lists, they will display in the additional waiting lists to remove area. If necessary, check the checkbox(es) of any other waiting lists for which you want to mark the applicant as ineligible.
9. Click START to continue.
10. Select the appropriate status code (why they are ineligible), and then type an additional explanation of the ineligibility, if necessary.
11. Click NEXT. Review and confirm the information you have set up and click FINISH to save and log the applicant ineligibility. The applicant is now inactive and the Lists Applied For tab appears again with the updated information displayed.
